The carvings of the stone are in the runestone style B-e-v (c. 1010-1050) pertaining to the Ringerike style and contemporary with Pr 1 and Pr 2.

The inscription is not signed.

The granite stone is c. 2,38 m tall and 0,65 m wide (across the middle).

Haursi and Ketill raised these stones in memory of Thegn , their father; in memory of the good husbandman of Funnir/Fúnir (Funbo).

 

Notes

This stone is part of the Broby group pertaining to a bridge monument raised by a prominent family of the Funbo area near Uppsala.
