ᚢ úr

Úr means either rain or the slag from iron production.

Stanza from the Icelandic Rune Poem:

Rain is the weeping of the clouds
and ruin of the hay-harvest
and abomination of the shepherd.

Slag comes from bad iron;
the reindeer often races over the frozen snow.
