ᛏ Týr

Týr is the name of the áss who lost his arm to the wolf Fenrir. But the name can also be used as a poetic word for any god.

Stanza from the Icelandic Rune Poem:

Týr is a one-handed áss
and leavings of the wolf
and prince of temples.

Stanza from the Norwegian Rune Poem:

Týr is a one-handed áss;
often has the smith to blow.
